Suspect accused of robbing man at knifepoint

Victim said he was robbed by Elijah Flores, 2 other men who needed ride

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have arrested a suspect in a robbery that began with the victim trying to help a friend.

Elijah Flores, 20, is the third person to face charges in connection with this case.

Police said one of the other suspects helped them identify Flores.

According to the affidavit, a 19-year-old man said he met up with Flores last June after a friend called asking for a ride.

The victim said he drove the friend, along with Flores and another man, to a convenience store, then back to his apartment complex.

Once they arrived at the complex, the victim said Flores pulled out a knife and held it to his throat while the other men robbed him.

During the robbery, the victim cut his hand on the knife, according to the arrest affidavit. He said the three stole his wallet, cell phone, keys and car.

Based on the affidavit, it appears police arrested the other two suspects last year.

The affidavit stated Flores was arrested on an unrelated warrant last Friday. The aggravated robbery charge was added Tuesday.
