Fire officials say a pot of beans was left cooking overnight on the stove. Water from the pot evaporated and resulted in the fire.

No one was injured and the restaurant was already closed for the night, fire officials said. Damage estimates were unknown.

A few hours later, firefighters were called to the Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse on Loop 410 and McCullough.

Smoke could be seen spewing from the building upon arrival. Fire crews say the source of the fire was in the kitchen.

The fire remains under investigation and officials did not release the extent of the damage.
