Fire ignites at northwest San Antonio condos

At least 20 San Antonio fire units battled a blaze Monday morning at a condominium complex on Medical Drive.

The fire reportedly broke out just after 8 a.m. Monday at the Spyglass Hill condos in the 4200 block of Medical.

San Antonio fire officials sent up to 26 units to battle the 2-alarm fire which was put out just before 9 a.m.

The cause of the fire and damage estimates were unknown as of 9 a.m. Fire officials said at least one person was overcome with smoke.
