Man dies after fall at north San Antonio apartment under construction

SAN ANTONIO – A man died Monday evening after he apparently fell at a north San Antonio apartment complex under construction.

The incident occurred before 6 p.m. at the Platinum Shavano Oaks complex in the 14800 block of Huebner Road.

Paramedics were dispatched to the apartments because of a report of someone falling off the scaffold.

Construction equipment and crews were on site at the time of the incident, but it was not clear what the victim was doing when he reportedly fell.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office had not released the man's name or a cause of death as of 4 a.m. Tuesday.
