Floresville store clerk fears for life after robbery

Police still searching for robbery suspects

FLORESVILLE, Texas – Floresville police continue to investigate the first armed robbery of a convenience store this year.

Surveillance video released shows the thief walking into the Exxon One Stop in Floresville yelling, "Stick up!"

The employee behind the counter, Crystal Silva, said that at first she thought it was a joke.

"He just walked in, clicks the gun and just points it straight at me," she said.

Other customers were in the store at the time of the robbery but the thief only left with the money that Silva gave him.

The robber left the store and got into a 2000 model Chevrolet Blazer that was waiting for him.

Since the robbery, Silva said she fears for her life and won't be satisfied until the thief is caught.

Wilson County Crime Stoppers is offering an reward of $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. The number to call is 830-393-4636.
