Garden Ridge Mayor Andrew Dalton passes away Dalton, 42, survived by wife and 3 daughters
GARDEN RIDGE, Texas – Family and community members are mourning the death of Garden Ridge Mayor Andrew Dalton.
Dalton, 42, passed away Thursday after a battle with cancer.
He became mayor of the community in 2013. Before that, he was a city councilman while serving on the Board of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas.
Dalton attended high school and college in New York.
He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Schertz Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Garden Ridge Community Center.
