Behind the scenes of hit ABC show 'What Would You Do?'

Show films episodes in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – The hit ABC show "What Would You Do?" has put a spotlight on many hot-button issues across the country.

Host and San Antonio native John Quinones has been filming upcoming episodes of the show in Texas.

"We need to take this show out of New Jersey and New York, we do it all the time there and I think geography matters," Quinones said.

So much goes into the setup of these scenarios.

The day before a taping, cameras are put up all around the location and the day of actual shooting it could take hours before they get someone to react.

More than 400 scenarios have been created in the show's eight seasons and even Quinones himself has posed as an actor.

"It was interesting to feel those hurtful words. Even though these were all actors using these words, it still cut through me like a knife," he said.

For the crew and Quinones, they say the show's real success is opening a dialogue between parents and their children.

Below, Quinones talks about his favorite scenario shot in Harlem.
