Man, woman sought in fatal South Side bar shooting

Victim identified as Alejandro Aldava, 31

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for two persons of interest they believe may be linked to a fatal shooting at a South Side bar.

Police said the man and woman (pictured above) were captured in surveillance images at Brooks Pub in the 3300 block of Lasses Boulevard where a man was shot in the back early Sunday morning.

The victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center and later died. He was identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office as Alejandro Aldava, 31.

Aldava was thrown out of the bar for allegedly instigating fights with other patrons. Police said he returned in a car a short time later and was shot by someone in a vehicle that pulled up next to him.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. The number to call is 210-224-STOP. Callers may remain anonymous.
