Man gets away on motorcycle with stolen vacuum

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Police are searching for a man who they say stole a nearly $600 vacuum cleaner from a New Braunfels Target.

Police said the man took the Dyson vacuum, valued at $599.99, from the Target in the 100 block of Creekside Way Monday.

After exiting the store, the thief left the parking lot on a motorcycle with the vacuum on his back.

Police believe the same man to be responsible for as many as seven similar thefts at Target stores in and around the San Antonio area dating back to June.

The man is described as being white, wearing a blue plaid shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and a blue baseball cap.
