SAN ANTONIO – Bringing the old into a new century, the historic St. Anthony Hotel reopened Thursday evening.

Built in 1909, the hotel three blocks from the Alamo was renovated and restored to its original luster.

The new owners of the building said the renovation brought surprise finds, including mosaic tile floors, that guests will now be able to see when they visit.
