SA business leader hospitalized at SAMCC Marty Wender suffered serious burns in accident at home No description found
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio business leader Marty Wender was hospitalized Monday in the intensive care burn unit at San Antonio Military Medical Center.
According to San Antonio Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Richard Perez, Wender (pictured, right) suffered the burns during an accident at his home Thursday night.
"I want to ask for your thoughts and prayers," Perez said in an email to chamber members. "(He) is receiving the best care in the world."
Wender was San Antonio Chamber of Commerce board chairman in 2002.
He is also well known for his real estate developments.
