Early morning attic fire awakens West Side family
Fire was reported just before 3 a.m. Tuesday
SAN ANTONIO – A family was forced out of their home due to an attic fire, fire officials said early Tuesday.
The fire was reported just before 3 a.m. in the 2100 block of Arbor Place, near West Martin Street on the city's West Side.
Firefighters said the flames were contained to the attic, and everyone made it out of the home safely.
There is no word yet on how much damage was caused, or how the fire started.
