Crime Stoppers seek tips in August burglary

Incident occurred Aug. 10 at K9 Cafe Boutigue & Spa

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for a burglary.

The incident occurred on Aug. 10 around 2:30 a.m. at the K9 Cafe Boutigue & Spa, located in the 5400 block of Babcock Road.

According to police, the suspect drove up to the building, got out of his car and threw a stone into the front glass door, shattering it. The man then entered the building and rifled through a cash register before getting back into the vehicle and fleeing.

The suspect was seen driving away with another unknown person in the passenger side of the vehicle.

The suspect's vehicle appears to be a maroon or red four-door car using a spare tire on the rear driver's side. The license plate was not visible in surveillance footage.
