One dead, four wounded in Southside shooting

Victims found in three different places

SAN ANTONIO – A shooting near a Southside night club has left a woman dead, four others wounded and police looking for the shooters.

The attack happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday in the 2600 block of S. Flores.

Police say they got a call for a shooting across the street from the club, and when they arrived they found three people shot.

They then located another person lying wounded in a nearby ditch.

An SAISD police officer then notified SAPD he'd found a fifth victim about a block away.

Police say one wounded woman died after being transported to SAMMC.

The other four went to University Hospital.

One victim is critical and the others are stable.

Police say they don't yet have any suspects, and don't know the motive for the shootings.

They're asking anyone with info to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
