SAN ANTONIO – Updated Tuesday at 12 p.m.:
A couple found dead Monday at a home in East Bexar County were the victims of a murder-suicide, the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office said Tuesday.
Cindy Dehoyos, 40, and Robert Alvarez, 46, died of a gunshot wound to the head, officials said.
Dehoyos' manner of death was homicide while Alvarez's manner of death was suicide, officials said.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner's office has released the names of the two people killed in a shooting in East Bexar County.
46-year-old Robert Alvarez and 40-year-old Cindy Dehoyos were found shot in a bed inside a home in the 4200 block of Stanley Park around 9 a.m. Monday morning.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office said another woman was also home at the time of the shooting, but she is not believed to be a suspect.
Officials said there was no sign of forced entry. The investigation is ongoing.
A man and a woman were killed Monday morning in a shooting in East Bexar County, sheriff's officials said.
The victims, a 40-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, were found in a bed in a home in the 4200 block of Stanley Park, sheriff's officials said.
A woman who was in the home at the time of the shooting found the victims, but she isn't considered a suspect, sheriff's officials said.
There were no signs of forced entry, sheriff's officials said.
Officials said they don't think anyone else was in the home besides the couple and the third adult.
