Body found in riverwalk, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police discovered a body in the riverwalk early Sunday morning. 

Investigators were called to the downtown area between East Commerce Street and West Market Street around 9 a.m. but police believe the man's body may have floated south. 

Police said a river barge operator was flagged down by a business owner who spotted the body.

Police are still investigating.
