Police looking for multiple suspects involved in mail theft

Incident took place at a Valero Gas Station on Huebner Rd, Bandera Rd

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the people responsible for a mail theft on April 1.

The incident took place around 11 a.m. at a Valero Gas Station located at the corner of Huebner Road and Bandera Road.

Police said the postal carrier stopped at the gas station to fuel his truck and parked his vehicle at the gas pumps as the suspects were exiting the Valero. A suspect wearing a red ball cap, a black shirt and a rosary stole the victim's truck as two other suspects drove off in another vehicle. 

All suspects were seen together prior to the theft, police said.

Anyone with any knowledge of the crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
