The affidavit said that Callahan met Reyes and Phillip Anthony Munoz for a drug deal that was set up online.

When Callahan walked up to the car that Reyes and Munoz were in, he gave them an empty box and punched Reyes, the affidavit said. Moments later, Reyes shot Callahan and took off.

Munoz was arrested in April after investigators placed him at the scene of the crime using cellphone records.
