AUSTIN, Texas – Flooding is likely this week, according to KSAT’s Weather Authority team, and Gov. Greg Abbott is expected to discuss how Texas will prepare for rainfall during a news conference Monday afternoon.
Abbott will hold a news conference in Austin at 5 p.m. to talk about how the state will plan for flood threats across large portions of Texas over the next several days, according to a news release.

Storms are projected to hit counties west of Bexar late Tuesday night into very early Wednesday morning. KSAT’s Weather Authority said heavy rainfall is expected to hit San Antonio before dawn on Thursday.
