SAN ANTONIO – All San Antonio schools will be open on Monday, Mayor Ron Nirenberg said in a press conference Sunday afternoon.
Some schools near San Antonio, however, will be closed. Below is a list of schools that have cancelled classes.

Monday School Closures:
* Goliad ISD school and activities canceled until Sept. 5.
* Gonzales ISD will be closed on Monday.
*Lifegate Christian School in Seguin will be closed Monday.
* Luling ISD canceled classes on Monday. The first day of school will be Tuesday for LISD.
* New Braunfels ISD has canceled school on Monday. The first day of school is anticipated to be Tuesday for NBISD.
* Nixon-Smiley CISD will be closed Monday. School will start Tuesday.
*Nordheim ISD no school Monday or Tuesday. School will start Wednesday.
* Poteet ISD canceling school on Monday. First day expected to be Tuesday.
* Pleasanton ISD canceled classes on Monday.
* Runge ISD is closed Monday for students and staff. Tuesday is a staff workday. Students will report to school Wednesday.
*Seguin ISD canceled Monday.
*Stockdale ISD closed Monday.
*Texas State University canceled classes on Monday.
