Naked man found inside Tower of the Americas

Police not sure how suspect broke into building

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police took a man into custody who they found sitting naked in the kitchen of a restaurant inside the Tower of the Americas early Tuesday morning.

It wasn't clear right away who called police, but officers responded before 5:30 a.m. and found the man inside the building. They said when they found him, he was staring straight ahead and did not communicate with officers.

Police said they weren't sure how he managed to enter the building.

The name and age of the man arrested is not currently known.

The restaurant is located near the top of the tower, which is in the 700 block of E. Cesar Chavez Boulevard.
