2 women facing charges after beating driver in suspected road rage incident

Victim says she was certain they wanted to kill her

PASCO CO., Florida – A woman and her step daughter are facing battery charges after they got caught on video beating another driver in a road rage incident.

The fight happened in Florida's Pasco County on Tuesday.

Police said it started when the two women, identified in a police report as Shelly Gemberling and her stepdaughter Alicia Scarduzio, exchanged words with a female driver. The words escalated when the two women walked up to the driver's car and pulled her out of the open window by her hair and neck.

Both women are seen punching the driver several times, leaving her with a broken nose.

In the video, another driver runs up to the women to try and break up the fight.

The victim, Emily Bailey, said she was certain they were trying to kill her. Bailey said the two women tried to run her off the road, and when she honked at the pair, they waited for her at the light.

Both were jailed on $50,000 bond each.
