DPS chase ends in collision, driver seriously injured
Suspect runs on foot despite trooper shocking him with Taser

SAN ANTONIO – A driver suffered possible life-threatening injuries after a suspect being chased by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers collided with a vehicle.
The chase started around 2:45 a.m. in the area of Potranco Road and Clover Creek.
Troopers were chasing the suspect when he T-boned a car, officials said.
The victim was taken to University Hospital.
The suspect made a run for it despite being shocked with a Taser, officials said.
