SAN ANTONIO – Thousands packed University of Incarnate Word campus on Saturday for the annual "Light the Way" holiday event.
Organizers updated the decades old San Antonio tradition this year by organizing a festival-like atmosphere.
The event was moved from Benson Stadium to the main campus where there was more room for vendors and performers.
UIW invited various food trucks and local vendors to sell their products at "Light the Way."
The event was established in 1986 by former UIW president Lou Agnese, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
The campus will be open for self-guided tours through January 6, 2018.
