Reward offered in hit-and-run that injured 31-year-old man

Victim hit by car Nov. 4 at crosswalk at North St. Mary's East Commerce

SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a hit-and-run driver.

Police said on Nov. 4 at around 2:18 a.m., Fred Herrera was walking on a crosswalk at North St. Mary's and East Commerce streets when he was struck by a white car.

Herrera suffered minor lacerations to his head and was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

The car fled westbound on East Commerce Street, police said. 

The vehicle's right side-view mirror was broken in the incident.
