Man dies after police find him shot, underneath car

SAPD left with little information on shooting

SAN ANTONIO – A man died after he was shot Saturday morning on the city's West Side. 

San Antonio police responded to reports of shots fired at the intersection of South Calaveras and Dorris Street around 2:15 a.m.

When officers arrived they found a 35-year-old man lying underneath a car. He had been shot and was unresponsive, according to police. He was taken to University Hospital and was later pronounced dead. 

Police said they have not located any witnesses and are investigating.
