CONVERSE – Converse police said Sunday a traffic stop over a broken brake lamp led to the discovery of cash, drugs and firearms.

According to police, the driver was stopped for a broken brake lamp when police found a half-pound of methamphetamine and Xanax in the vehicle.

Authorities also recovered cash and firearms from the vehicle.

The driver and passenger are facing charges of delivery of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm.

The Converse Police Department did not name the driver or passenger.
