According to FOX 7 TV, Gomez admitted to police she had sex with the student at least four times.

Two of those times, Gomez and the student were in her car outside of the apartment where the student lived with his mother, according to FOX 7.

The crime was reported to police after the boy’s mother learned about the relationship after going through explicit messages on her son’s Snapchat account.

The boy was interviewed by police and he confirmed the relationship, FOX 7 reported.

Police said Gomez met the victim in January when she tutored him in math at Bowie High School but their sexual relationship began months later.

Both of Gomez’s charges are second-degree felonies, punishable by two to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000, according to FOX 7.

Austin police said they do not believe any additional students were involved.
