New Cajun/Creole spot RedHook Cajun Seafood & Bar debuts in San Antonio

A new bar and Cajun/Creole spot, offering seafood and more, has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at 6759 N.W. Loop 410, the new arrival is called RedHook Cajun Seafood & Bar.

RedHook Cajun Seafood & Bar, a Tennessee-based chain, offers fried and boiled seafood with custom spice levels and seasonings for each customer. On the menu, look for fried chicken, shrimp and fish baskets, seafood (clams, crabs, lobsters and scallops) by the pound and sides like corn, sausage and fries. 

The new restaurant has gotten solid reviews sof ar, with a 3.5-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp.

Donovan T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 10, wrote, "Today was the soft opening. My review is accounting for some kinks in the system. I was not impressed on this visit. I will try again in a few months when the kinks should be worked out."

And Lauryn S. wrote, "This place is freaking awesome! The scenery is so cute. Their playlist is fire and our server Sydney was the best... This place is going to be a hit in the future. I can't wait to come back."
