Authorities hope to identify woman seen on video doorbell wearing restraints

No missing person matches woman's description

Montgomery, Texas – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a woman who appears to be in handcuffs seen on video ringing a doorbell in the middle of the night.

It happened at about 3:20 a.m. Friday in the Sunrise Ranch Subdivision near Lake Conroe. The woman is barefoot and wearing a T-shirt. She has something around her wrists that could be some kind of broken restraint.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says people from across the state have sent them flyers of missing women, but so far they don't believe any of them are the woman in the video.

Deputies have gone door-to-door to interview residents and are reviewing other surveillance video from the area.

Authorities aren't sure if she is a crime victim or part of a potential home invasion scheme.

If you recognize the woman, you're asked to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 936-760-5800 and reference case #18A243347.
