2 from SA killed in quadruple-fatal Laredo crash

LAREDO, Texas – State troopers are investigating a crash near Laredo that left four dead, including a couple from San Antonio.

The victims, pronounced dead at the scene, were identified as 74-year-old Maximo Cremar Jr. and his wife, 66-year-old Oralia Morin Cremar, both from San Antonio.

Maximo Cremar's mother, 93-year-old Maria Buentello Cremar, of Hebbronville, and 46-year-old Norberto Torres Sanchez, of Laredo, also died in the crash.

Investigators said the wreck happened when a tractor-trailer crashed into the back of a pickup truck, causing the truck to collide with the car the Cremars were in. The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
