Ground beef recalled from just one South Texas H-E-B Plus store

BULVERDE, Texas – San Antonio-based grocer H-E-B on Wednesday issued a voluntary recall for ground beef sold at its H-E-B Plus store in Bulverde.

The recalled beef includes fresh ground chuck 80/20 and ground brisket chili meat packaged on Styrofoam trays with a sell-by date of 9/26/2017 12:30 p.m. through 6:03 p.m.

The company said there might be metal in the food. No illnesses have been reported.
