On Thursday, authorities in San Antonio said they were able to locate Meza at an address in the city and authorities were able to arrest him without an incident.

Meza is being held in custody at the Bexar County Jail while awaiting extradition to Kansas City, according to authorities.

“Violent crimes such as these require a quick response to execute the arrest,” said U.S. Marshal Susan Pamerleau. “Our task force officers responded without delay and apprehended this suspect quickly, but more importantly, safely.”
