Driver loses control of pickup truck, crashes into tire business on NW Side, officials say

No injuries resulted from the incident

San Antonio police are investigating after a pickup truck crashed into the side of a tire business on the city’s Northwest Side. (KSAT)

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating after a pickup truck crashed into the side of a tire business on the city’s Northwest Side.

The incident happened around 2 p.m. Sunday in the 5700 block of NW Loop 410.

Police said the driver and his girlfriend were heading west on Loop 410 when their pickup truck struck a barrier while exiting.

The driver then lost control and the truck crashed into the building. The crash caused a large hole in the wall and the damages appear to be extensive. First responders utilized a tow truck to pull the truck out of the wall.

No injuries were reported and damage estimates are still pending.
