Warrant issued for murder suspect still on the loose, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO – An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of murder last week, and now San Antonio police are hoping someone will help them find him.

Vernon “Keno” Dixon is wanted for the shooting death of Avante Boyce.

Boyce was shot multiple times in the parking lot of an East Side apartment complex in the 1800 block of Hays Street on Thursday afternoon.

According to SAPD, Dixon is a documented member of the “blood” gang and he frequents San Antonio’s East and West Sides.
