KINNEY COUNTY, Texas – A 22-year-old San Antonio woman was arrested Monday near the Texas-Mexico border for allegedly smuggling immigrants who are in the country illegally.

Isabel Franco, 22, was taken into custody by Kinney County Sheriff’s deputies and special agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

She is charged with three felony counts of human smuggling.

Franco was driving three men from Honduras from Kinney County to San Antonio, according to DPS Lt. Christopher Olivarez.
