Pickup Lines: St. PJ’s Children’s Home board president Amanda Rico

SAN ANTONIO – The latest Pickup Lines segment features St. PJ’s Children’s Home board president Amanda Rico.

She grew up on the South Side and went to South San High School. As a teenager, Rico took a job bagging groceries at H-E-B. Today, she still works for the grocery giant in a corporate role.

A few years ago, as Rico prepared to celebrate her 30th birthday, a simple bedtime story with her kids changed everything.
