“This investment reflects our commitment to create a welcoming store built with our customers and community at heart,” said Josh Sims, the location’s Top Store Leader. “We are eager to bring to our Las Palmas store a fresh look and updated shopping experience that this vibrant community will be proud of for years.”
When renovations are complete, the Meal Simple section is expected to offer a wider selection of grab-and-go meals.
According to the release, there will also be a brand-new Sushiya area.
The other store upgrades include a larger pharmacy with two drive-thru lanes and a relocation of the interior curbside area to the service’s dedicated parking spaces.
The exterior storefront will also receive various upgrades in its architectural style, the company said.
“For the exterior, there will be updates to the storefront that will refresh and enhance the architectural style that makes the location unique,” H-E-B said, in part. “New entryways, tied to the store’s original design, will welcome customers to the updated layout and amenities.”
H-E-B said that the Las Palmas store has also recently undergone maintenance work and repairs to its parking lot.
During the course of the renovations, the company said the Las Palmas store will remain “fully functional.”
