SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Water System crews are working to isolate a water main break on the North Side that caused street flooding Tuesday morning.
The break was reported around 7 a.m. near Blanco Road and Wurzbach Parkway. SAWS said crews were working on shutting down the water.

A car also became stuck in the floodwater, and a wrecker was called to the scene, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
A KSAT Connect viewer shared a video showing the flooding at its height. The water has since receded.
At least one apartment complex nearby is out of water.
Crews are digging into the ground to fix the broken pipe, causing lane closures in the area. The Blanco Road exit from Wurzbach Parkway is shut down in both directions.
