Records: Former NISD elementary teacher indicted on multiple child sex abuse charges

SAN ANTONIO – A former Northside Independent School District elementary teacher was indicted on multiple child sex abuse charges after she allegedly sexually assaulted a student multiple times about a decade ago.

Cecilia Mueller, 47, was first arrested in connection with the alleged incident on April 27, 2026.

According to police, the alleged assault happened with a student several times while she was a teacher at Lewis Elementary School for nearly 12 years, until June 2019.

Mueller is no longer affiliated with the district, and records show her teacher educator certificate is also indefinitely suspended.

According to Bexar County jail records, Mueller was indicted on two first-degree felonies and three second-degree felonies.

Those charges include three counts of indecency with child sexual contact, one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and one count of continuous sexual assault of a child under 14.

Mueller’s next hearing is scheduled for Oct. 13, records show.
