SAN ANTONIO – A person of interest is behind bars in connection with a homicide at the San Antonio River Walk, police have confirmed.
The person remains in the Bexar County jail on unrelated charges, police said.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office ruled the death of Kenneth McFadden, 26, whose body was found along the River Walk in April, as a homicide.
McFadden was found April 9 by a downtown worker at an area between East Commerce and West Market streets.
Police said a river barge operator was flagged down by the worker who first made the discovery.

Officials at the time said there were no obvious signs of trauma. The medical examiner ruled the cause of death as an apparent drowning.
Investigators said they don’t have any motive in the case, and the investigation is on-going.
