Police: Man forces way through drive-thru window, robs restaurant at gunpoint

Robbery occurred Sept. 29 in 500 block of N. New Braunfels Ave.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers have released an image of a suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery on the city's East Side.

The robbery occurred Sept. 29 just before 6 a.m. at a Jack in the Box located in the 500 block of North New Braunfels Avenue, not far from East Houston Street.

According to police, the suspect entered the fast food restaurant through the drive-thru window and began pointing a handgun at the employees. 

The suspect demanded cash from the people working the cash registers before fleeing, police said.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
