Reward offered in Whataburger slaying

Kelvin Brown, 44, shot to death on March 22, 2014

San Antonio police are asking for the public's help as they try to find a suspect in last month's deadly shooting at a North Side Whataburger.

Kelvin Brown, 44, was shot in the chest on March 22 while sitting in his car in the parking lot of the Whataburger at Loop 410 and Broadway.

He was talking to his friends when police say a black Chrysler PT Cruiser pulled up.

Someone in the Cruiser yelled something at Brown and Brown turned around.

That's when police say the driver pulled out a gun, opened fire and took off.

Brown died at the scene.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

The number to call is 210-224-STOP.
