New place to try in 2021: The Office Bar and Grill

Located in Pleasanton, this spot mixes comfort food with a mini vacay from work

SAN ANTONIO – These chicharrones are so fresh, they are poppin’! It’s a new place to try in 2021: The Office Bar and Grill in Pleasanton.

When you think of going to the office, you might not think comfort food, cocktails and casual dining. But when you step into The Office Bar and Grill on East Hunt right off 2nd Street...

“One of the owners and his wife were kind of joking with one another and they wanted a place here in town that they could visit and if somebody called and made a phone call, well, when we answered the phone we would say, ‘Oh, we’re at the office,’” general manager Cindy Flores Arevalo said.

The restaurant offers American comfort food, like chicken fried steak, and some favorites with a twist, like crawfish coated in Cap’n Crunch cereal and deep fried to golden perfection. Jen Tobias-Struski gives us a taste in the video above.

“It’s worth it to come out here because we have entertainment Friday and Saturday and it’s absolutely free,” Arevalo said.

This hidden gem has giant Jenga outside, outdoor seating with lots of opportunity for social distancing and plenty of fresh air where the kids can run around while you enjoy drinks with friends.

The restaurant also offers monthly mixers. Each mixer is limited to 30 people. Find out how to register for the next mixer in the Facebook post below.

DON'T MISS OUT!! 🤗January 31 Mixer!! Make sure to grab your spot before they're all gone for our Michi-Margarita PJ...
