Fall is here, and Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is right around the corner.

If you are not familiar with Dia de los Muertos, it's a multi-day holiday that involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember friends and family members who have passed.

Hispanic Heritage Month might be over, but AARP's culturally-relevant local events are still going strong.

AARP is offering a Dia de los Muertos workshop on sugar skulls Thursday, and on Oct. 24 there will be a Dia de los Muertos altar making workshop.

Do I need to bring anything?

No, you don't have to bring anything; AARP will provide an assortment of royal icing, glitter glue, sequins, beads and flowers.
