Leonard was asked if the injury would keep him out of Thursday’s Game 6 at Houston and responded by saying he would play.

Leonard added the injury occurred while he was playing transition defense. He had 22 points and 14 rebounds but could not finish the game and did not play in overtime.

In Leonard’s absence, the Spurs pulled through in overtime and won 110-107 to take a 3-2 series lead.
