Seventeen children become US citizens in time for Independence Day
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is on the path of welcoming 9,400 new citizens in 170 naturalization ceremonies by July 7. Seventeen of those new citizens were sworn in Saturday and all of them were under the age of 14 and from 17 different countries.
Disabled veteran in search of his customized wheelchair after losing it on highway
A New Braunfels Air Force veteran is asking for the community’s help with finding his custom-made wheelchair that fell off his truck while he was on the highway. Colton Read, 32, lost both of his legs during his deployment in 2009.
