A trial is expected to begin Wednesday for a woman facing an animal cruelty charge after she was caught on video allegedly hitting her puppy multiple times.

The Bexar County District Attorney’s Office said that a 23-year-old woman facing an animal cruelty charge was indicted earlier this week.
