Friends remember victim killed in barbershop attack on Northwest Side

SAN ANTONIO – Friends of a victim tragically killed Wednesday in a barbershop attack on the Northwest Side want the community to know more about the life taken too soon. The Bexar County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 20-year old Evan O’Regan, but friends knew her as Helle Jae O’Regan. Luke Tyler and Harvest Barry stopped by the barbershop where O’Regan was killed to add flowers to the growing memorial. U.S. diesel prices hit three-year low as farmers fear further harvest delays

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Diesel prices in the U.S. Midwest have sunk to a three-year seasonal low as farmers in the region face adverse weather conditions, further complicating an already delayed harvest season, traders and farmers said. After wet conditions postponed planting this spring, farmers in states such as Illinois and Iowa were expecting delays to harvesting crops this fall. Ultra-low sulfur diesel prices in both Chicago and Tulsa, Oklahoma, are at their lowest for October since 2016, Refinitiv Eikon data shows. Currently, heating oil futures are trading at $1.9208 a gallon, and Chicago diesel prices are at 8.25 cents per gallon below futures.
