A long-running capital murder case came to a close Monday in the 187th District Court as the final co-defendant, Joanna Reyes, was sentenced for her role in the 2017 killing of Mark Anthony Saldivar.

The defense team representing Taymor McIntyre in his capital murder trial was sternly reprimanded by the judge on Tuesday after violating a pretrial order during cross-examination of a key witness.

A woman accused of being the driver in a 2017 capital murder took the stand Monday in the trial of Taymor McIntyre, also known as rapper Tay-K 47, offering graphic and emotional testimony that identified McIntyre as the gunman who killed photographer Mark Saldivar.
